
Four members of the San Bernardino Valley College women's soccer team were selected for All-Inland Empire Athletic Conference honors by coaches for their play this season.
Defender Karina Saucedo earned first-team honors for her work this season. The freshman from Ontario High School was a key member of the SBVC defense this season, acting a shut down player in the middle of the field.
Sophomore Alexia Jimenez was selected for second-team honors. The midfielder from San Bernardino's Indian Springs High School often held down the center of the field for the Wolverines, acting as both an attacker and facilitator of the action through the middle. She finished the season with three goals and three assists.
Earning honorable mention honors were freshmen Faith Facio (Yucaipa) and Danielle Hernandez (Jurupa Valley Patriot). Both players recorded two goals on the season.
