SBVC Women’s Basketball: Crebbin Moves On

San Bernardino Valley College Head Women's Basketball Coach Susan Crebbin has stepped down to accept a position with California State University, San Bernardino.

Crebbin has spent the last ten seasons as the leader of the women's basketball program amassing a record of 212-89 over that span, including seven Foothill Conference championships in her last eight seasons. She twice reached the state's Elite Eight, falling to #2 seeded Ventura in 2012 and #1 seeded Mt. San Antonio in 2013 both in the SoCal Finals. Along the way, Crebbin earned an impressive five Foothill Conference Coach of the Year honors.

"It has been an emotional decision as I have invested the last ten years in the basketball program and the students that SBVC serves," Crebbin said. "I would like to thank colleagues, support staff, past and present coaching staff, and the students of SBVC for making this a rewarding experience. Most importantly I understand it was the student-athletes, my SBVC basketball family, whose determination, sweat, grit, perseverance, and successes in the classroom and on the court, that has afforded me this opportunity. I am grateful."

"Sue has been an important member of our department for the last ten seasons," said Director of Athletics, David Rubio. "Not only was she able to bring a consistent winning culture to the Women's Basketball program, she has been a wonderful leader of young women. The things that made her successful here at SBVC will certainly follow her in this next phase of her career."
