The San Bernardino Valley College men's cross country team continued its dominance of the Inland Empire Athletic Conference championships Friday morning, as it ran away with the 2024 edition of the IEAC Championships at Victor Valley College.

Kevin Nava continued his strong 2024 season, taking first place in the IEAC event, finishing the 4-mile course in a time of 20 minutes, 50 seconds.

His teammates followed close behind, finishing in the third through seventh spots. Vinnie Quiroz took the third spot, crossing the line at 21:07.1. Elijah McBroom was next to finish at 21:12.8. The next two came across within three seconds of each other as Jacob Mendiola finished at 21:33.3 and Zach Calderon stopped the clock at 21:36.6. Armando Nunez was next in seventh place at 21:48.5. 

The Wolverines will spend the next two weeks preparing for a return trip to Chaffey College for the Southern California Championships with their eyes on a return trip to the State Championships.
