SBVC Runners Improve Personal Bests at Occidental

A light early rain helped set the conditions for members of the San Bernardino Valley College track team to have strong showings at the Occidental College spring break event last Saturday.

Several SBVC runners posted personal best times at the meet, as they improve with the goal of peaking later this year.

In the 800 meters, Jahzeri Gill (1 minute, 59.11 seconds), John Mireles (2:02.27) and Roberto Lopez (2:04.46) all posted lifetime best times. Under the lights, the distance runners also posted improved results.
