Brian Chester joins the San Bernardino Valley College staff after more than six years of experience developing players and building winning teams at the high school level. Currently serving as Special Teams Coach at San Bernadino Valley College, he specializes in offensive and defensive strategies, player development, and game analysis. His coaching journey includes leadership roles as Defensive Coordinator/DB Coach, and head coach where he has been instrumental in crafting strong, disciplined teams.

Known for his expertise in player technique, film analysis, and mentorship, Brian has a proven record of elevating performance, including leading Bonita Vista High School to a 10-3 season and earning Coach of the Year honors in 2023. He holds a Master’s in Kinesiology Sports Medicine/Performance from Point Loma Nazarene University. Brian Chester is a Chicago native residing in San Diego, where he began his coaching journey from the youth level to the college ranks.
