SBVC Baseball mauls the Panthers as Przybylek tosses complete game, 11-4

SBVC (7-10; 3-2) took a 3-1 lead early then in the third blew the doors open as the home side put across six runs and sophomore right handed starting pitcher Nick Przybylek (2-1) (Riverside Martin Luther King, Jr.) threw a complete game, striking out five in a win over the Rancho Cucamonga Chaffey Panthers (5-9; 3-2), 11-4.

SBVC added a run in the first, but in the top half of the second the Panthers would tie the game at 1-1. SBVC then scored two in the second, six in the third and Chaffey added a run in top of the fifth to make the score 9-2. SBVC added two more runs in the bottom of the seventh and the Panthers squeezed a couple of runs over the plate in the ninth.

 Przybylek not only tossed the first complete game of the season, he had two last season, but surrendered four runs, all earned on 12 hits, walking two and striking out five.

 Sophomore first baseman Aaron Cisneros (San Bernardino H.S.) had another fantastic game at the plate, going 3 for 4 with two runs scored and three runs batted in and sophomore short stop Tyler Robles (Etiwanda H.S.) went 3 for 5 with a run scored and two RBI's on the warm afternoon.

 Freshman right fielder Austin Berglund (Etiwanda H.S.) went 2 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI and sophomore third baseman Andrew Ramones (Redlands Citrus Valley) went 2 for 5 with a run scored and an RBI in the win.
