The San Bernardino Valley College women’s volleyball team opened its 2017 campaign with a three-set victory over Cuyamaca on Friday afternoon.

The Wolverines (1-0) won 25-13, 25=16 and 25-14 in the three-game sweep.

Valley had a balanced attack against the Coyotes (0-1). Tialanni Iose (Carter) led the way with eight kills, while Savanna Aguilar (Beaumont) had six kills and three aces. Verenice Rivera (Beaumont) added four kills and three aces for Valley.
