SBVC Women’s Volleyball lost a tough one against the Roadrunners, 3-0

SBVC (5-13; 1-5) put together a hard fought effort against the visiting team getting close to securing victory in the first and third sets, but falling in three to the Palm Desert College of the Desert Roadrunners (11-5; 4-2), 25-20, 25-19, 25-21.

Freshman libero Karina Solis (Fontana H.S.) had 20 digs and sophomore setter Jessica Socha (Riverside Martin Luther King, Jr.) grabbed 22 set assists, two service aces and seven digs on the night.

Freshman outside hitter Cara Littlefield (Grand Terrace H.S.) collected three service aces and eleven digs and freshman middle blocker Taylor Perkins (Rialto H.S.) had three kills, two solo blocks and five block assists in the game.

Freshman outside hitter Margarita Solis (Fontana H.S.) grabbed two kills and eight digs and sophomore outside hitter Lashay Cason (Fontana Summit) collected four kills and eight digs.

The next Foothill Conference game for SBVC will be on Wednesday, November 5 at 5:30 p.m. at Rio Hondo.
