Justin Remington
Assistant Coach

Coach Remington completed his education at National University in La Jolla, Ca where he majored in English. He continued his education at National and earned his English teaching credential, a Masters in English, and a Masters in Educational Leadership.

He teaches English at Moreno Valley High School where he also was hired to take over a struggling girls basketball program. Upon Coach Remington's arrival at Moreno Valley High, the girls basketball program had an overall record of 2-60, upon completion of his three years as head coach Moreno Valley finished 50-26 overall, with two back-to-back league championships. Coach Remington was named coach of year in his conference in 2015.


Coach Remington is also a certified trainer through Impact Basketball, who train incoming and current NBA athletes. He also works as a Basket Instructor for PGC (Point Guard College).

Coach Remington is also Assistant Athletic Director at Moreno Valley High School and his main duty is to advise coaches and teams on campus in mistake response, developing a winning culture, developing effective practices and strong student-athlete relationships. His sessions with both coaches and student-athletes on campus have directly resulted in improved seasons for the teams he counseled.

Coach Remington is excited about undertaking the assistant basketball position and aiding in the continuation of  success San Bernardino Valley College Women's Basketball has seen. He hopes to bring his knowledge of the game along with his ability to develop players to SBVC to help them make a championship run.
