The San Bernardino Valley College men's cross country team swept top honors as the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference announced its year-end awards.
Freshman Carlos de la Torre (Jurupa Valley Patriot) was named the conference's runner of the year. De la Torre won the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championships, then went on to finish eighth overall at the State Championships.
Coach Jim Ratigan was named the conference's coach of the year. Ratigan led the Wolverines, with only one returning sophomore, to their 23rd consecutive conference championship, and fourth place finishes at the Southern California Regionals and State Championships.
