Coach Griff is optimistic and excited to run it back after a extremely tumultuous 2022 season, entering into his now 3rd as an offensive assistant. Griff returns for a second straight year at SBVC, this 2023 season having recruited some really good local, regional & national talent. Bringing years of playing and coaching experience at both college and pro levels, Coach Griff's specialty is what he says is what he loves to do, "Recruit." There's nothing like changing a kid's life whether is giving him an opportunity at his dream of higher education or assisting him to the next level with a scholarship to play at the level and obtain a degree.
He's assisted young men from all over california on securing an opportunity at a free education at the Power 5, FBS, FCS & D2 levels. Some of whom either graduated college and has or had the pleasure of an NFL opportunity, some drafted some as undrafted free agents.
