The San Bernardino Valley College softball team was looking forward to returning to campus for the 2023 season.

Unfortunately, construction issues have put off that return for the time being.

For the month of February, the Wolverines will be playing their home games at Loma Linda University’s Drayson Center’s field complex, which is located at 25150 Shepardson Drive in the city of Loma Linda. Parking will be allowed during SBVC games inside of parking lot DC, located on Shepardson Drive.

As part of the campus of Loma Linda University, there will be certain issues that will need to be taken into account for games at the Drayson Center.

Spectators should plan to bring their own chairs to the field, as there is a limited amount of bleacher seating available behind the backstop. The field is also located next door to the Loma Linda Academy Children’s Center, a day care center for young children. As such, we ask that you not play loud music or use foul language while at the field. There is no parking at the children center.

Also, due to Loma Linda University’s Seventh-Day Adventist beliefs, games scheduled on Fridays will need to be completed by 4 p.m., as Seventh-Day Adventists observe their Sabbath starting at sundown on Fridays.
