Dominique Daniels posted one of the most prolific two-year careers in the history of San Bernardino Valley College. He is in the top five of several all-time scoring categories in the school's long history. 

He finished his two years having scored the second-most amount of points in a career at the school with 1,454 points in 61 games, 83 points off the school record set by Ernie Powell from 1694-66. He finished the 2022-23 season with the most 3-pointers made in a single season with 91, and made 144 in his career, one off the record set by his teammate, Armon Muldrew. He finished his career making 40.4 percent of his shots from beyond the arc, good for fourth-best in school history in the category. The 814 points he scored in 2022-23 was the second-best single season total in school history - Powell had 960 in 28 games in 1965-66. He tied the school record for 3-pointers in a single game with nine (out of 12) against College of the Desert on Jan. 25, 2023. He finished that game with 47 points, which is the fifth-best single game in school history. And, he was the fifth player to record 14 assists in a single game - two off the school record of 16, which was done by Kevin Jeske in 1969 and Will Funn in 2003. 

Daniels was the Inland Empire Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player twice, and was named the California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association Southern California Player of the Year in both of his seasons. In 2022-23, he led the state in scoring, averaging 26.3 points per game, In 2021-22, he was eighth in the state, averaging 21.3 points per game. 

SBVC won the IEAC championship in both seasons, and made back-to-back trips to the state Elite Eight.
