SBVC moved onto their second event of the 2016 season at Irvine Regional Park for the SoCal Preview Meet, where sophomore Alyssa Hebb (Redlands East Valley) finished 9th individually and the team finished 13th overall.

SBVC finished with 366 points and Hebb led the way, dominating the field in a solid top 10 showing, finishing with a time of 19:22 on the 5k course.

Finishing a strong 37th place was freshman Savanna Perez (Rialto W.A. Carter) who collected a time of 20:36.88 and freshman Daniela Soria (Redlands Citrus Valley), who crossed the finish line at 22:00.12, good enough for 80th place.

Sophomore Cynthia Boyzo (Jurupa Valley H.S.) wrapped up a 117th place finish with a time of 23:28.37 and sophomore Alexis Espinosa (San Bernardino Pacific) wrapped up the top five for SBVC with a time of 23:50.08, finishing in 123rd place.

Freshman Sinai Martinez (Fontana H.S.) and freshman Iridian Valdivia (Moreno Valley Valley View) finished 126th and 127th for SBVC on the afternoon.
