Longtime SBVC coach Ken Blumenthal led the team to their second straight Foothill Conference Championships, then the team grabbed their second straight CCCAA state finals appearance with an eighth place finish at the SoCal Championships. As a reward for their sixth Conference Championship, the team was bestowed with the Conference Coach of the Year award and Conference MVP along with six All-Conference honors.

SBVC grabbed a 16th place finish at the CCCAA State Championship with the top individual finisher for SBVC placed 19th on the 5000 meter course, freshman Fernanda Rodriguez (Jurupa Valley Rubidoux) with a time of 18:57.5. SBVC grabbed 430 points at this event, finishing 12 points ahead of Pasadena College and 352 points behind winner Mt. San Antonio, the SoCal Championships was held at Woodward Park in Fresno.

The next highest finisher for SBVC was freshman Pandora Mondragon (Fontana Jurupa Hills) placing 21st with a time of 19:04.7. Placing 114th place was freshman Jessica Hernandez (Rialto W.A. Carter) with a time of 20:44.4. Finishing 134th was sophomore Adrianna Contreras (Fontana Jurupa Hills) with a time of 21:07.8 and Citlaly Garcia (San Bernardino Cajon) wrapped up the SBVC finishers with a time of 21:24.1, placing 142nd
  
The Women's Cross Country team collected their second straight CCCAA state finals appearance with an eighth place finish at the SoCal Championships, the top individual finisher for SBVC placed 18th on the 5000 meter course, Mondragon with a time of 19:06.38. SBVC grabbed 289 points at this event, finishing three points ahead of Bakersfield College and 228 points behind winner Glendale, the SoCal Championships was held at Woodley Park in Van Nuys.

 The next highest finisher for SBVC was Rodriguez placing 23rd with a time of 19:18.58 and placing 57th was sophomore Karlie Creal (Moreno Valley Vista del Lago) with a time of 20:09.73. Finishing 94th was Contreras with a time of 20:59.14 and Hernandez wrapped up the SBVC finishers with a time of 21:03.52, placing 97th.

The Women's Cross Country team grabbed their second straight Foothill Conference Championships and sixth overall, the top individual finisher for SBVC placed 1st, Rodriguez with a time of 18:39.SBVC collected 19 points at this event, finishing 38 points ahead of Victor Valley College. This year's Foothill Conference Championship was the last one to feature Rio Hondo College as they announced they will be discontinuing their Cross Country program. The event was held at Legg Lake in El Monte, SBVC runners took the first three spots at the finish line.

The next highest finisher for SBVC was Mondragon placing 2nd with a time of 18:45 and placing 3rd was Creal with a time of 19:10. Finishing 6th was Contreras with a time of 19:59 and Hernandez wrapped up the SBVC finishers with a time of 20:29, placing 7th.
