Freshman Mahalynn Sawyer was named first team All-Inland Empire Athletic Conference for her contributions to the San Bernardino Valley College volleyball team in the 2021 season.

The outside hitter out of Aquinas High School led the Wolverines with 155 kills on the season. She also contributed on the defensive side of the equation, leading the team with 30 solo blocks (and nine block assists) while also finishing third on the team with 107 digs.

Earning second team recognition from SBVC was freshman outside hitter Ruby Siaosi. A Moreno Valley High School grad, Siaosi was second on the team with 117 kills and 142 digs.
