Two Honored on Conference List

When the San Bernardino Valley College women's volleyball team was defending, there seemed to always be one person ready to turn the ball around for an offensive attack. And she was always wearing a different color jersey than her teammates.

Libero Jordan Segura was rewarded for her work in the 2019 season by being named to the All-Inland Empire Conference first team in a post-season vote by conference coaches.

Segura always seemed to be on the end of an opponent's attack, as she was credited with 424 digs on the season, an average of more than seven per set she played in the 2019 season. She also posted 30 service aces and 10 kills from her position in the back.

Joining Segura on the All-IEAC second team was freshman Kayla Williams. She led the team with 114 kills on the season, accounting for 132 total points - about 22 percent of all the points scored by the Wolverines this season.
