Two members of the San Bernardino Valley College women's soccer team earned a place on the CCCAA Academic All-State team during the 2019 season.

Forward Nayeli Sandoval, who led the Wolverines in scoring, was named to the team. Sandoval, a graduate of Bloomington High School, was the Inland Empire Athletic Conference player of the year and was named to the California Community College Soccer Coaches’ Association’s All-Southern California team.

She was joined on the list by goalkeeper Kerstin Lecon. Lecon has already committed to attend Texas A&M Texarkana next fall.
