Antania "Nay Nay" Watkins scored 41 points, including making five of six free throws in the final minute, to lead the San Bernardino Valley College women's basketball team to an 80-73 victory over Southwestern College as part of the first SBVC Invitational.
Watkins' 41 points came thanks to four 3-pointers and 17 of 22 free throws. She also added four steals and three blocked shots, as the Wolverines picked up their first win of the season.
Tyease Bryson was the only other Wolverine in double digit scoring, as she added 13 points. But Bryson's biggest contribution came on the boards, as she pulled down 20 rebounds in the game.
Malia Talavera led the Jaguars with 27 points, while Satera Bates added 16 in the loss.
