Less than 20 hours after suffering a disappointing and frustrating loss under the lights to Los Angeles Mission College, the San Bernardino Valley College men's soccer team was able to get their frustrations out Tuesday afternoon, dismantling Imperial Valley College 6-0 in a Pacific Coast Athletic Conference game at SBVC.

After outshooting Mission 9-3 Monday night, the Wolverines scored on only their second shot of the game Tuesday. Jakob Salinas fired a shot that goalkeeper Alfredo Vega stopped, but could not handle, and Alfredo Moreira was there to put the rebound into the net in the sixth minute to give San Bernardino Valley an early 1-0 lead.

Moreira struck again in the 25th minute, slotting home a shot that chased Vega from the game. It would give the Wolverines a 2-0 lead they would hold through the first half.

In the second half, the Wolverines poured it on. Salinas picked up his second assist in the 57th minute, as Fred Zaragoza headed home his corner kick at the near post for a 3-0 lead, and about 10 minutes later, it was Zaragoza setting up Tony Vallejo for the Wolverines' fourth goal.

The Wolverines put the game to bed with two goals in about three minutes as Jesus Jaime-Gutierrez scored San Bernardino Valley's fifth goal, and Moreira completed a hat trick on a set up by Andrew Quiroz.

San Bernardino Valley ended the game with 14 shots on goal, to only two for Imperial Valley.
