Moussa Selected Region's Top Offensive Player

Jeremy Moussa’s record-setting season at San Bernardino Valley College may have ended earlier than expected, but the quarterback was still rewarded for his work during 2019.

Moussa (Eastvale Roosevelt) led a group of six SBVC players to be named to the All-California Region IV team, which was announced late in 2019.

Moussa was named the Region IV Offensive Player of the Year, after finishing the 2019 season with 3,179 yards passing and 37 touchdowns in nine games. He signed after the season with Vanderbilt University.

Joining Moussa on the all-region team were wide receiver Tate Pringle (Lincoln (Neb.) Southeast), offensive lineman Kory Butcher (Riverside Notre Dame), running back Darrell Turner Jr. (Tampa Bay Tech, Tampa, Fla.), utility player Ezekial Zaragoza (Ontario Christian) and defensive lineman Damen Studstill (West Catholic Prep, Chester, Pa.).

Pringle finished the season with 30 catches for 460 yards and five touchdowns, while also throwing one touchdown pass. Turner carried the ball 173 times for 954 yards scoring four rushing touchdowns, while leading the team with 37 receptions for 343 yards and three more touchdowns. He, too, threw a touchdown pass.
