Rene Leal
Infield Coach & Recruiting Coordinator

Rene Leal is in his 7th year coaching at San Bernardino Valley College. He is currently the infield coach and recruiter.

Leal graduated from Colton High School. He played Semi-Pro baseball for the Milwaukee Brewers.

In 1999, Leal was among the 1st Americans inducted into the Australian Baseball Hall of Fame.

Before joining SBVC, Leal coached Varsity Baseball at Redlands High School for 14 years where they won 4 CBL titles.

Leal’s hobbies include boating at the river, watching football and going to baseball games.
