Ashley Watkins, MS, ATC
Ashley Watkins joined the San Bernardino Valley College athletic training staff in 2021, becoming the second full-time trainer on staff - a first at SBVC.
Watkins arrived at San Bernardino Valley from Fresno City College, where she was part of a staff that featured three trainers. She graduated from Fresno State University with her Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, before receiving her Master’s degree in athletic training from Chapman University.
Besides Fresno City, Watkins has worked as a part-time athletic trainer at Compton and El Camino Colleges, and gained experience in the field working at LA Southwest and Fullerton Colleges, as well as stints with the National Hockey League’s Anaheim Ducks and at UCLA. She is certified through the National Athletic Trainers Association.
