SBVC started the 2016 season at Sylvan Park in Redlands for the University of Redlands Invitational, where sophomore Alyssa Hebb (Redlands East Valley) finished 2nd individually and the team finished 5th overall.

SBVC finished with 106 points and expectations are high for Hebb, as she dominated the field in a solid 2nd place showing, finishing with a time of 17:09 on the 4,500 meter course.

SBVC then found itself in a very nice grouping, where they grabbed finishes of 24th place, 25th place and 26th place. Finishing in 24th place with a time of 20:00 was freshman Daniela Soria (Redlands Citrus Valley) and collecting a 25th place finish was freshman Iridian Valdivia (Moreno Valley Valley View).

With a time of 21:18, sophomore Cynthia Boyzo (Jurupa Valley H.S.) finished in 26th place and wrapping up the top five for SBVC was freshman Natalia Molina (San Bernardino Cajon) who collected a time of 22:09 to finish in 29th place.
