SBVC was just steps from collecting their third straight Foothill Conference Championship, but the hosts fell just three points short at the San Bernardino Soccer Complex.

Sophomore Fernanda Rodriguez (Jurupa Valley Rubidoux) was the top finisher for SBVC, leading the way on the 5000 meter course in 2nd place with a time of 18:34.

Finishing 5th was freshman Alyssa Hebb (Redlands East Valley) with a time of 19:36 and sophomore Jessica Hernandez (Rialto W.A. Carter) finished 6th with a time of 19:57.

Sophomore Citlaly Garcia (San Bernardino Cajon) finished 10th with a time of 20:13 and Freshman Cynthia Boyzo (Jurupa Valley H.S.) wrapped up the top five for SBVC with a time of 20:54, finishing 12th.

Freshman Alexis Espinosa (San Bernardino Pacific) and freshman Kimberly Cooley (San Bernardino Cajon) finished 14th and 15th for SBVC on the morning.
