SBVC (4-8) fought a tough battle against the Glendale Vaqueros (2-9), but ended up losing in four sets with scores of 25-18, 17-25, 25-23 and 25-21.

Sophomore setter Nayeli Hernandez (San Bernardino Aquinas) led the team with 29 assists and had 9 dig and sophomore outside hitter Roslynn Hamilton (Moreno Valley Vista del Lago) led the team with 18 digs and had 10 kills on the evening.

Sophomore outside hitter Stephanie Gilbert (Moreno Valley Vista Del Lago) led the team with 13 kills, had 4 service aces and 14 digs and freshman libero Angel Rodriguez (Fontana Azariel Blanchard Miller) had 11 digs.
 
Sophomore outside hitter Chelsea Afereti (Moreno Valley H.S.) had 10 digs and 6 kills.

The next home game for SBVC is when they host Allan Hancock, on Friday, September 23, game starts at 2 p.m.
