SBVC Women's Track & Field traveled to Riverside City College for the Southern California Finals, finishing 26th as a team behind eventual champion, Mt. San Antonio, with freshman Karlie Creal (Redlands East Valley) finishing eighth in the 800 meter run.

The Southern California Finals were won by Mt. San Antonio with a total of 122 points, 10 points ahead of their nearest competitor, Cerritos, and 121 points ahead of SBVC, which finished 26th with 1 point.

 The top individuals in the running events (Top 4, 100M to 800M; Top 6 all other running events) and the top 6 in the field events will qualify for the CCCAA State Track and Field Championships which will be held at historic Hilmer Lodge Stadium on Friday and Saturday, May 16th and 17th.
