SBVC Women's Track & Field sent three student athletes to the Oxy Distance Carnival Spring Break Classic in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Los Angeles on March 13th. SBVC participated in the 800 meter run and the 1500 meter run.

Finishing sixth in section 3 in the 800 meter run was sophomore Jazmin Romero-Ordonez (Beaumont H.S.) with a time of 2:24:21 and grabbing second place in section 6 was freshman Citlaly Garcia (San Bernardino Cajon) with a time of 2:39:65. The top finisher completed the race with a time of 2:12:00, the place finish for Romero puts her #16 in Southern California.

 In the 1500 meter run, Romero-Ordonez finished second with a time of 5:06:84 and sophomore Adrianna Contreras (Jurupa Hills) finished 14th at 5:43:54. The top finisher in the 1500 meter run grabbed a time of 4:33:58, ranking Romero at #28.
