SBVC Women's Soccer: Williams commits to California State University, San Bernardino.

SBVC Women's Soccer sophomore Forward Baylee Williams has committed to California State University, San Bernardino.

Williams a Beaumont High School girl's soccer standout participated in all 24 games for SBVC in 2016 scoring a team leading 16 while notching 8 assists as well, totaling 40 points on the season. The Wolverine offense led by Williams scored 89 goals in just 24 matches, which was the third highest amount in the state. 

For her efforts in the 2016 season, Williams was named 1st Team All Pacific Coast Conference, Pacific Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Year and NSCAA All-West Region.

The Valley College Women's Soccer Team finished the season ranked 8th in the nation by the NSCAA, ending the year with a 19-1-4 overall record and a 12-0-3 conference record. They were rewarded with a #5 seed in the Southern California Regional Playoffs. As a reward for their eighth Conference Championship, the team was bestowed with the Conference Coach of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year (Williams) and Defensive Player of the Year honors as well as four first team All-Conference players.

California State University is a Division II institution located in San Bernardino, California. The Coyotes are coached by 2nd year head coach, LeBaron Hollimon. In the 2016 season, the Coyotes went 8-7-2 on the season and 7-3-2 in California Collegiate Athletic Association conference play.
