SBVC WOMEN'S SOCCER: DIHOM SIGNS LETTER OF INTENT

SBVC Women's Soccer sophomore forward Meagan Dihom (Rancho Cucamonga High School) has signed a letter of intent with Texas A&M, Texarkana.

Dihom participated in 19 games for SBVC in 2016, scoring 5 goals and was a key offensive player for the Wolverines off the bench bringing a spark of energy, speed and creativity.  She helped her 2016 squad score 88 goals on the season which the third highest amount in the state.

The team finished the season ranked 8th in the nation by the NSCAA, ending the year with a 19-1-4 overall record and a 12-0-3 conference record. They were rewarded with a #5 seed in the Southern California Regional Playoffs. As a reward for their eighth Conference Championship, the team was bestowed with the Conference Coach of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors as well as four first team All-Conference players.

Texas A&M, Texarkana is located in Texarkana, Texas. The Eagles play at TAMUT Soccer Field and the team is coached by 2nd year head coach, Don Koontz. In the 2016 season, the Eagles went 6-5 in conference play finishing in 5th place, with an overall record of 13-7. Texas A&M Texarkana is in the Red River Athletic Conference of the NAIA.
