Juliette Marquez is entering her first year as a collegiate assistant coach. A Ventura County native, she began her career coaching middle school in 2010. She moved to the high school level following her first year and coached at Santa Clara High School in Ventura County from 2011-2015 helping lead the Saints to a 2014-15 Tri-Valley League Champions.

Prior to coaching, Marquez played basketball for more than a decade, receiving many accolades and accomplishments in the sport. Named All-League for her high school team (Saint Bonaventure High School), 2-time First Team All-Conference for the Western State Conference at Oxnard College. As well as, having held one of the top three point shooters in the state during her time playing collegiately. During her time playing at Oxnard College, Marquez averaged 19.0 ppg, shooting 44.3% from the 3-point range and averaged five 3’s per game.

Coach Marquez obtained a Bachelors from California State University Channel Islands in English and Performing Arts Theatre in 2015. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University. Her ultimate goal is to be a head coach at the University level and along the way teach her players the importance of an education.
