Anthony Jones
Assistant Coach

Anthony Jones is entering his third year as assistant Men’s Basketball coach at San Bernardino Valley College. Jones holds degrees in Physical Education from Cal Baptist University and an M.S. in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University. He is currently working on an Adaptive Physical Education Credential and has taught Health and Physical Education for the last 20 years.

Jones comes to SBVC after a Collegiate playing career at Cal Baptist University where, in his senior season, he was team captain grabbing the team steals title and was the second leading scorer on the team that season. Jones still maintains a fourth place position in All-Time games played and fifth All-Time in 3-pointers made in CBU Men’s Basketball history.

Prior to coming to SBVC, Jones was an assistant in 2003 when the Rialto Eisenhower Eagles varsity Boys won the CIF Championship. Afterwards, he took the head coaching position with the Rialto (H.S.) Knights from 2004 to 2007, in 2008 he took over as head coach with Riverside John Wesley North, taking the Huskies to the 2010 CIF Quarterfinals and from 2011 to 2013, Jones lead the Rialto Wilmer Amnia Carter Lions.
