Balanced Attack Leads Wolverines to Tourney Win

Kendall Lauderdale had 17 points as the San Bernardino Valley College men's basketball team had five players in double figures as they defeated East Los Angeles College 94-70 in the semifinals of the Alvin Hunter Classic at SBVC.

The Wolverines (5-0) went on a 10-0 run late in the first quarter to open up a 13-point lead they would hold at the half. San Bernardino steadily increased the lead in the second half, to advance to the championship game of the tournament against West Los Angeles College.

Craig LeCesne had 13 points, while Ty Glover and Chris Johnson each added 12 more. Chidi Udengwu had 11 more for the Wolverines.

Roderrick Williams led all scorers, putting in 22 for the Huskies (3-1), who will play Antelope Valley in the third-place game.
