    SBVC (1-4) was locked in a defensive battle with a team they had not played since 2000, most of that battle they were winning, but a short field on one drive and a long drive bolstered by SBVC penalties gave the visiting Santa Maria Allan Hancock Bulldogs (2-3) a road win, 16-6.

    SBVC (0-3) put up a valiant effort against the Glendora Citrus Fighting Owls (3-0), an early score by the Owls did not detour the home side, as they took a 9-7 lead late in the first half, but turnovers and costly penalties led to a Citrus win, 33-9.
  • SBVC Football looks for positives in loss to Mt. SAC, 40-0

    SBVC (0-1) defensive front played well against their opponents, holding the Walnut Mt. San Antonio Mounties (1-0) run game to only 92 yards, but the SBVC offense struggled to keep their quarterback upright, as they surrendered 9 sacks in a season opening road loss, 40-0.

    SBVC Football has a new head coach, Jason Vandiver, joining the Wolverines after leading one of the highest scoring offenses in the CCCAA last year as an assistant at Los Angeles Valley College.
