In their last PCAC - North conference game the MiraCosta women's volleyball team played as expected, dominant. In a three game sweep the Spartans dominated by scores of 25-9, 25-5, 25-10 showing why they deserve the undefeated conference championship and more.  The Spartans had 17 aces (eight by sophomore Claudia Mathews.)  Beyond the aces MiraCosta had a balanced attack with Riley Bosworth leading the way with seven kills.  Chloe Tripp, Jillian Nickens Claire Kinder and Michelle Mason each added five kills.  Hayley Huntsman had 21 assists in just two sets and Bella Gama distributed 10 in one set of play.

The Spartans improve to 22-6, have won 15 in a row and 19 out of the last 21 matches.  The next match will be Wednesday at home at 6pm in a cross-over match with the 2nd place team from the PCAC - South conference.
