San Bernardino Valley College Athletics launched their new PrestoSports website today https://SBVC.PrestoSports.com Featuring enhanced statistical information and story rotators, this site looks to be on the cutting edge of communication.
In a journey that began in June 2014, the overall design process was deliberated amongst SBVC Athletics coaches to get the appearance just right in an effort to better reach out to the community and prospective student athletes. In March 2015, the adding of content began, loading photos and stories onto the website, linking pages and setting up communication and information forms. Finally, after 14 months the new website was launched and while the nature of web development is always growing, this is a new and positive chapter for SBVC Athletics.
“We have made it a long way, this was a true labor of love for everyone who had a hand in it,” said Director of Athletics, David Rubio. “From the coaches who had direct input into how this site should look, to Brian Sylva, the Sports Information Specialist who added everything to make this site function and pop and the Site Development Specialist for PrestoSports, Steve Kramer, who was there for us whenever we needed him, I am truly thankful to all of their efforts and it’s a great move for the District, the College and the Department.”
“This website rebuild gives us a competitive edge, grabbing eyes and interest from the community, the media, and current and future student athletes, putting us above most Community Colleges and even a great many 4-year Universities,” commented Rubio.
