Six members of the 2016-2017 Valley College soccer team were recently named to the California Community Colleges Athletic Associations Academic All-State Team.  The requirements for selection include at least one season of community college athletics, a minimum of 24 semester or 36 quarter units with a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.3 or higher.

The following Valley Women's Soccer players were selected; freshman midfielder Samantha Cordova (Rancho Cucamonga High School), freshman midfielder Natalie Davis (Yucaipa High School), sophomore defender Dominique Gonzalez (Etiwanda High School), freshman midfielder Gloria Hinson (Rancho Cucamonga High School), freshman midfielder Annie Rittenhouse (San Gorgonio High School) and sophomore midfielder Braelyn Tirella (Yucaipa High School).
